ECODAN LOW CARBON HEATING, HIGH ENERGY, LOW COST WATER HEATING
NOW AVAILABLE IN LINCOLNSHIRE

Ecodan®heat pumps have the potential to reduce a home’s CO2 emissions by up to 50%*. When compared to traditional means of domestic heating, Ecodan is easy to install, reduces CO2 emissions* and offers a 30%* saving on running costs.

*These savings are based on a 4 bedroom house of standard construction built in 2000. The Ecodan replaced an 80% efficient gas boiler.

CO2 Emission Reduction - How important is it?

A major cause of climate change comes from the energy we use to heat, light and run our homes. The domestic sector is a critical area and is responsible for 27% of UK CO2 emissions. Energy demand in the sector grew 17.5% from 1990 to 2003. All fossil fuels are finite resources and need to be used as economically as possible.

Harvest the low temperature renewable heat energy available in the environment with a Heat Pump

What is a Heat Pump?- A heat pump harvests low grade heat energy for free and delivers it where it is useful - in your home! The heat is upgraded using the vapour compression cycle. As the main heat source is free, the efficiency is excellent - 300-400% annually.

The Magic of a Heat Pump!
Low temperature renewable heat energy recovered from the environment.

The unit harvests and “upgrades” free heat energy.

Therefore the amount of heat delivered is always greater than the energy paid for.

COPs (Coefficients of Performance)
in the region of 3.0 to 4.0 are achievable i.e. for every kW of electrical energy consumed 3.0 to 4.0 kW of heat energy can be delivered.
